WE SCHOOL AT BANGALORE
The site had a unique setting. The institute building sits at a lower level than the road. The area behind the institute is even lower. The landscape development therefore meant to tie all three levels to the institute building in more meaningful way. The front garden slopes towards the central institute building. This garden gets much better visibility through the classrooms. Moreover when the classrooms open on this side, the students can informally sit on dressed boulders arranged in this space. The rear garden was converted into an amphitheatre informally laid. A large group an sit here and chat or study or can have an informal performance. The project had some water feature and potted plants arrangement at the entrance for creating interest at the entry itself.
